ART ATTACK

Art Fair Philippines was from February 5 to 8, 2015 at The Link, Makati. I was fortunate enough to go the opening night. I got a sneak peek at the place, people who attended got first dibs on the art, and I took the opportunity to take pictures without the pain of waiting for people to move.

It’s always great to visit events like this or even just museums or individual art galleries locally and internationally. You realize there are a lot of talented people in the world.

If you had the opportunity to go to Art Fair this year, awesome! There were some really talented people part and if you weren’t able to come, that’s okay, there’s always next year!

P.S. Art In The Park is next month! March 22 and 15, 10am to 10pm at Jaime Velasquez Park, Salcedo Village, Makati (just a heads up if you’re interested in buying some art on a budget!)

The work is called "Erased Erasers". They look like pretty crystals but really they're just solid eraser shards casted.

Most photogenic booth of the second floor I think. People like to be immersed in part of the art and here's a way you can be. People can capture it in a photograph.

Grocery, I mean art shopping?

Different artists contributed to this series

Most of the cans were empty but all one of a kind. My mom and I got a couple of pieces.

I think some people didn't realize you can take home some with you. It's free!

Geraldine Javier
Series of embroider gallery owners. They were asked what art means to them.

People could get speech bubbles and say what art means to them.

You can flip through the artists little illustration book. Loved the details in the drawings.
