Gender, sexuality, and feminism took center stage at The Polaris Project's first anniversary gig.

These days, there isn’t much excuse to stay home on a Friday night for lack of better things to do; If the clubbing nightlife scene isn’t really your thing, you don’t have to look far to discover the youth flocking to alternative venues across Metro Manila every weekend to not only absorb, but also partake, in the flourishing local creative community. Purveyor of the arts and strong supporters of young Filipino artists, The Polaris Project, held TINDIG 2015 last August 29 at Satchmi SM Megamall. To no surprise, it was well-attended by a magnetic crowd receptive to the night’s offerings; Poetry and music took center stage with spoken word poets performing stirring pieces on gender, sexuality, and feminism. Acoustic, but never lackluster, live sets moved the crowd courtesy of performances by Hannah+Gabi, BP Valenzuela, Reese Lansangan, Half-Lit, Dearest, Aly Cabral, and Slow Sink.

The perfect partner while watching the performances? One of Satchmi's delicious brews.

A captivated crowd.

Satchmi was a full house on the night of Tindig.

Casual mall passersby couldn't help but be curious
